No prior robotic or coding level needed. However, students with prior robotics and coding knowledge will be challenged to higher levels.
COURSES FOR
KIDS
Students will explore the real-world robot applications to build, test, and program their own robot using a VEX IQ Robotics Kit. The course involves assembling robot models and use of robotics automation programs, applications, and sensors to engage in different challenges. They develop their knowledge on the STEAM principles in logic and programming through various tasks and obstacle courses. Finishing off with a competitive obstacle course to test the skills learnt. Students will build their skills set in physics, coding, and the engineering design process.
This course will prepare the fundamental robotics skills required for the ultimate participation in the end of course team competition. Whether you’re new to the world of robotics or looking to take your programming skills to the next level, this program has it all!
